Ingredients:

6 slices white or sandwich bread (crusts removed)

6 mozzarella string  cheese sticks (or cut blocks)

2 large eggs

1/2 cup all-purpose  flour

1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably seasoned)

1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)

1/2 tsp paprika (optional)

Oil for frying

Instructions

Flatten the bread slices with a rolling pin.

Place one mozzarella stick on each slice and roll up tightly. Press the edge to seal.

In separate bowls, place flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs (mix in garlic powder and paprika if using).

Dip each roll in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs to coat completely.

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
